Park Triangel
Waddinxveen, the NetherlandsAbout Park Triangel
BPD and the Municipality of Waddinxveen are developing Park Triangel, a green district with lots of water in which 2,900 homes are being built. Situated to the south of the existing residential centre, the focus here is on a healthy living and working environment. A central park forms the district’s green lung, stimulating both young and old to take exercise. An abundance of greenery functions as a water buffer and helps to keep the area cool when summer temperatures soar. Park Triangel will provide homes for everyone. There will be 880 affordable homes, of which 275 social rental homes and 260 mid-priced rental homes that will be let through BPD Woningfonds. In addition, there will be 345 affordable owner-occupied homes with a KoopStart scheme. First-time buyers can get in at a low price when buying their home. Completion of the district as a whole is planned for 2025.
