About Campbell Barracks

On the site of former American army barracks, BPD is developing a residential district in which living, learning and working go hand in hand: Campbell Barracks. The plan emerged as the winner of a competition held by the city of Heidelberg. Campbell Barracks will comprise around 165 apartments, to be built in four phases. Fourteen of the apartments will be completely barrier-free. Around 21 service areas are planned for the ground floor, with shops for day-to-day needs. Completion is scheduled for 2024.
